So, we have found one of the hardest parts about being expectant parents is figuring out this whole naming-of-our-child-thing. Yes, it maybe even harder than dealing with my emotions! For some insane reason, I just thought we would open the book containing 100,001 Baby Names, and "the one" would be flashing at us or dancing around on the page - if only!! It's difficult because we don't want something that every kid will have, but we aren't all about the weirdo-Hollywood names (don't worry, no Pilot Inspektor Myers here). There are so many things to think about - and we have found Myers a difficult name to be paired with!
We thought we would enlist the help of our blog-readers, if there are even any of you out there! I know a few of my family members are reading - although I think it's because of the easy access to pics of Jonah :) My dad has totally admitted it! And my mom and sister have left a comment or two, so I know they were at least reading at one point! So, to the readers of The Myers Family Blog - here is your test...please help us give Little buddy a name!!!
We have a decent list started. Here are the "normal ones" we like (in NO particular order): Joel, Spencer, Owen, Jameson, Elliot, Lincoln, Seth (although, Seth Meyers from SNL - kinda lame)
There is also another list we have. For some reason, we (mainly I) am super particular to Irish/Scottish names (again, in no order): Colin, Liam, Beckett, Kieren, Finley
Our friend Tyler has also been helping us brainstorm. Some of our favorites from him include: Gandalf, Piccachu, Frederick Theodore (i.e. Fred Ted), and Lions Tigers and Bears O Myers.
One thing we definitely know for sure - his last name will be Myers :)
We totally would love and appreciate any thoughts/ideas you all have!!!

Cassie! I saw your blog on Karrie's post...I'm adding it to my list of ones I read now:) Congratulations on being pregnant! I am so excited for you...I think I need to get on the ball now:) You and Justin look great and so happy! I can't believe it's been so long since I've seen all you Milligan girls! Hi Cass! Abby, Megan, and I are reading your blog. Abby really likes the name Joel David Myers. Megan votes for Owen Hansel Myers. I think they're all adorable. Can I add my own? If I can, I want to add Camden Alan Myers. Camden was my favorite name, but Brian had Cam for a student. Alan could be after our favorite Uncle Jeff. And then his initials will spell his name, CAM. If I can't add to the list then I am going to have to agree with Abby on Joel.

Justin showed me your blog site today. First I must say, you are freaking hilarious! I couldn't stop laughing while I was reading this whole thing. Secondly...names...I really liked your pick Jameson. Also, your post above had Camden, I love that one too. Mine to add would be Jayden and Logan (Even though Justin told me Logan was out). If I think of any more I'll let you know. Congrats!!! and soo excited for the two of you!

Hey Cass... I feel really bad - I posted 2nd and Katie told me tonight that it wasn't on the blog! I think my fav is Colin, then Liam, and then Seth. You do realize that he will most likely be called Little Buddy, so hey, what's in a name???

Ben-Jarvis Green Myers is my suggestion.
This is easy, name the baby Stephen. This could work for a boy or girl it doesn't matter. Just ask J everyone loves Stephen around the office. Seriously this name will make your child a star...
Elizabeth is going to jump all over this blog idea when I tell her. I blame you and J for her new interest in baby clothes. She has bought you and Sean's wife Heather outfits already...
Who would have ever knew it was that hard to pick out a name. Heather and I spent a month or 2 until we finally came up with a name. Here is how I went about it. First I though LeSeanda was a good name. In J's case making Justin Myers Jr a much better suggestion. Second I thought about Stephen until I looked at the ultrasound. Third I decided to let Heather pick out a few names and I picked from that list. We both liked Madyson and I got to spell it. I like Jameson and Brayden as boy names. I hope all is going well and you've been feeling fine.
Well well...of course my first vote is lions tigers and bears oh myers..but not sure how that one will go over in school for him. So thinking of him im going to go with...1. Jameson 2.Beckett 3.Liam(although it is a popular name right now and im all about the unique one).
