Snow!!

These past few weeks, we have been bombarded with snow. I am really starting to despise it - it's cold and ugly (once it starts to melt), it keeps Owen and me housebound, and it's just blah all around!

However, the one good thing about the snow is that it give us an excuse to take Owen outside and play. We've played a handful of times in the snow, and while Owen doesn't really care for the snow too much, he LOVES being outside.

He spent the majority of the time we were outside walking up and down the driveway - he thinks it so fun!

We took these pictures on a Saturday...by Tuesday morning, there was about double the amount of snow. We are also supposed to get another big storm this weekend, BUT...Owen and I will miss it (darn). We will be hanging out in sunny South Carolina for the week for one last visit before Niece Newton comes.

Pout Perfection

I think I may have mentioned Owen's "pout face" before. When he cries, he makes the worst face ever and sticks out his bottom lip. He has done this since he was like one month old and still does it now!!!

Now that Owen is a wise 14-month old, he has perfected his pout. His smart little mind has realized that when he pouts, he gets a pretty nice reaction from Mommy and/or Daddy. He now pouts on purpose to get what he wants. It's really ridiculous, but also really cute!

A Day at the Museum

It was actually more like "An Hour at the Museum", but we still had fun! For my birthday, Aunt Kristen and Uncle Chris got us a family pass to the Cincinnati Museum Center, and it's so nice to be able to go just for an hour or so and not feel like you've wasted $10! This week, I took Owen to the Children's museum again...and this time, I actually remembered a camera!! Even though the forecast calling for a massive snowstorm kept a lot of people away, we still had a great time.

*Small disclaimer: I suck at using our small camera. I apologize for the awful pictures. I think from now on, I will just lug our big DSLR camera with me.

Like at home, Owen had the most fun pushing things. At the museum, he pushed the grocery cart, a lawn mower, and a baby stroller with a doll. He's going to be a great big brother!

Hmmm...How am I going to get this down the stairs?!?!
